KOMARAM PULI -- Another hyped movie goes in vain

Title : KOMARAM PULI [ KOMARAM to be removed now ]
Director : S.J.Surya
Music: A.R.Rahman

So..atlast here I go with my Blog of reviews.A much awaited arrival of power star Pawan Kalyan after almost 3 years made fans go crazy to see him in a power packed role with all the hype created over the title and the combination. Every single fan of P.K would have expected the duo of Kalyan- Surya would repeat the magic of "KUSHI".

RATING:1.5/5
Review:
The movie opens with the impossible things happening with baby boy being born under some really unrealistic situations who turns out be our PULI.No marks for guessing :P.The major characters and the story are all revealed in the first few scenes leaving audience with no surprise elements. The fun element in the movie comes and goes with Ali on screen. It gets more duller with the scenes to come. The director looses the grip over the story and tried to concentrate more on the action sequences and dance sequences and camera angles over the Heroines and the Places.
Its a routine cop story , starts with the notion "POLICE needs to be POLICED" , but ends with that as well. After one such scene, the Director seemed to be interested in wooing the audiences with the action episodes and the sultry exposures.

Performances:

Pawan looks so stylish and energetic as Police officer and also shown his mark of rendering the dialogues in a few emotional scenes.
He is very impressive in action scenes.
Debutante Nikesha Patel’s beauty scorches the screen and she has done complete justice to the role which she was offered.
Her looks are pretty calorific in a few scenes especially when she tries to seduce Puli after their marriage.
Manoj Bajpayi did his best as the Don.His versatile acting skill makes us many of them feel that he is a perfect fit to that character.
Last but not the least, its worth mentioning Shreya's special song [purely an Item song],a real candy to movie-goers.

Technical Aspects:

Story lacked the tempo in first half, which only gained the momentum 20 minutes before the interval.
Script work could have been a little crispy.
S.J.Surya seems to have fully concentrated only on mass centers audience, may be because of which he used the same old “Khushi” thread of glaring at the female lead’s midriff on a seductive note.
But he could not come out of the commercial formula of injecting the songs in between irrespective of the need.Which definitely disturbs the concentration and the involvement of the audience who realizes themselves are getting connected to the story just then.

Talking about Binodh Pradhan’s cinematography, its as good as a Hollywood Film. He captured every shot beautifully.
Few Dialouges in the moive are nail biting
A.R.Rahman's music is the main key, especially the R.R and background score while Pawan and Manoj Bajpayi are seen on the screen.

“Puli” in simple words:

A visual treat for all P.K fans….and a one time watch for all movie lovers_, and a no for normal viewers.
